What's the difference between the Service Charge and Delivery Fees?
The Service Charge applies per ticket. The Delivery Fee applies per order, regardless of the number of tickets purchased.
Why are these charges levied?
Fees help cover the costs of putting on live events. These fees are not always kept entirely by Ticketmaster.
The portion Ticketmaster keeps helps cover the cost of processing your booking and getting you into the event. This includes Fan Support, site security, payment processing, our ticketing technology, event staffing and box office operations.
If we incur ticket delivery costs, these will be included as a Delivery Fee. Examples include postage and packaging, forwarding to the venue for collection or the support of newer delivery methods such as e-tickets, where scanning hardware is required at participating venues.
Who sets the fees?
Fees are determined by agreement with the venue or promoter for each event. Reduced fees may be available by purchasing tickets online or directly at a venue' box office or outlet.
